What our mission entails.

Guardians Against Abuse is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization. Our mission and focus is very simple and direct: do what we can legally to help people no longer be a victim of domestic violence and stand behind them as they find a new safe life.

Accountability

Guardians Against Abuse (GAA) is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (under section 170). Your contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. GAA's tax identification number is: #81-5098062

Tommy Boatright

Tommy Boatright
“ The guy that started it all... ”

Tommy is a retired electrician, Harley enthusiast and formerly worked for University of Illinois. As President and founder he has various responsibilities including ensuring the mission of the organization is executed, its programs are carried out in support of that mission, its finances are managed to carry out that mission, and of course, he is the ultimate supervisor of the organization's human capital.

“ The geek of the bunch... ”

Keith is the 20+yr open source database administrator currently for Ticketmaster that is also a Harley enthusiast that is an original founder, along with Tommy Boatright, of Guardians Against Abuse. Keith is responsible for all related technology used at GAA as well as works with the overall team to help develop and enforce policies and objectives for the organization to ensure it maintains its values and meets established goals. Keith graduated from Regis University with a Business degree and a minor in Computer Science (BS) .

Originally from Atmore,AL. Moved to Robertsdale in 2011. Worked as Operations Manager/Finance Manager for Baldwin County Violence Shelter AKA The Lighthouse from 2014 thru 2021. Currently works on the Corporate Accounting Team with Wolfe Bayview Funeral Homes in Fairhope,AL. She has 1 son who lives in Manhattan, NY and 2 dogs Merlee and Annabelle. She is a member of Kayotic Fitness in Daphne, and attends New Life In Christ Church in Foley. A 2008 Graduate of Faulkner University in Montgomery. AL. with a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) and urrently attends the University of West Florida - College of Business, majoring in Accounting. She believes in the value of self-worth and hopes to encourage men and women to be stronger and better people.

Brittnay “Gigi” is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Guardians Against Abuse marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organization.
